My Deer Friend Dr.Claw

Mission Summary

It was Dr.Claw Day, so of course, we're gonna ride, ride, ride, and this year, our deer friend Dr.Claw declared we would make our annual pilgrimage to Deer Island. Punchy was chilling in the fort early and joined us for the first leg of the mission to Sullivan Constellation. Behind the stalwart navigation of Cosima, we made a beeline past the casino and through the Everett warzone to the Chelsea 7-11 for refueling, where Deadblow burned up before we got too far into foreign territory. We continued on through sleepy neighborhoods of East Boston and Winthrop to Deer Island, where we followed a reverse orbit of the island. We saw some suspicious "fisherman" traversing the waterline below us, and were convinced they were disposing of bodies. Pilots chalked the ground in celebration of Dr.Claw's legendary origin story, in which he was birthed bearing a complete set of antlers, while Wombat embarked on an extended sansa-spacesuit lap and was nearly intercepted by poop trooper forces in a transport. The return to base was largely uneventful, though took a mighty toll on Zeus's knees, when he thought it would be a good idea to ride Summer on a long-range mission with mild rolling hills. A persistent transport full of drunk orangutans circled us no less than five times while we returned along Beacham Street, initially projecting excitment but getting more and more menacing on each successive pass until we finally lost them. Dusk dazzled with her Little Bo Peep (?) outfit, and was thusly awarded a Medal of Chic, as was Meownderthal for their spectacular ship/outfit/energy drink color coordination. Mission success!
