Operation

Too Many Maggots

The mission began with a surprise birthday party for Crack, who turns 26 earth years on Monday. After a hearty celebration we gathered the fleet to depart on a long mission. Several recruits decided to back out at the last moment, after hearing about the level of discipline and bravado required for such a demanding sortie. Eight stepped forward to take the challenge.

Many derbies were performed as we traditionally flew through the Harvard and Central Constellations, and on through the Lechmere subsystem. During one derby Skunk and Chef collided, aggravating Skunk's ribcage which was injured a week earlier in a training
exercise in the Belmont System while piloting his Long Range Scout, Sin.

We experienced significant g-well activity during our approach to the Bunker Hill monument. From there we blasted down to the USS Constitution, and relaxed on the waterfront. We traveled home through Storrow's deep space.
