All Aboard the SCUL Express!
With Nosepicker as our conductor and Threespeed's Moulton sporting a caboose's lantern, the fleet left station with a gradual build up of cheer and delight. Like the Trans-Siberian Express, the fleet made its way around Somerville and Cambridge systems with brisk speed and pulled into shore leave at Luna 7-11, just ahead of schedule. The smell of something burning made the wookiengineers scour suspect vessels to ensure no problems were to be found. Boxcar formation was popular as incoming was frequently called.
Course was set for our target destination, the rail yard at the end of the line. Unsure of its alleged abandoned status, the fleet crept through the portal and took a quick survey of the area. Cheers from the starboard side; we'd been spotted. A gang of modified transport pilots were eager to meet us and we obliged. Dr. Claw and Threespeed attempt to ride the rails while the rest of the fleet engaged in diplomacy with the other gang.
Keeping to our schedule, we rode out to resume our flight through the Allston System en route to a secluded location near Porter for Derby and Fuel Dump. Casual flight continued through the evening as we nearly exhausted every train related song on the playlist.
New recruit Ya and guest Cupcake joined us for this flight, as did Threespeed's Moulton.
