USB Abandon All Hope had been repaired and reinforced earlier that day and was combat ready for Fleet Admiral Skunk to once again take the helm. The disaster from the mission just two weeks earlier seemed distant, though the maneuvering tactics of the pilots were more conservative.
Not much of a choice for destinations this time, Nails has gained passage to a colony in the Central Constellation. The coordinates were still at Fort Ridgemont, so we set course.
Along the way we drifted off course to the parking garage in Luna Tufts Medical Center, and raced to the top. Spiraling down on the way out we were confronted by a ninety year old security guard in a Ford Taurus Transport telling us to leave. We obeyed immediately.
The rest of the way to Fort Ridgemont was without further incident, save a short but strong negi G-well, we got what we needed and started off again. BANG! USB Trez Bonz's primary thruster lost an oxygen tank. Due to the heavy strain of war the axle nut was unremovable in the field, and we were forced to use another ship. USB FunStyle was taxis out of the hanger and we were on our way once again.
A mile later, we traversed the Allston Spacewalker channel. The fleet suffered heavy meteorite damage, two more oxygen tank failures. Two left for coffee reinforcements, while the rest of the crew repaired. A half hour later we attempted to launch again only to suffer another flat. After attempting repair once more and releasing there were more malefactions of other ships we realized we needed help. Drill Bit, Waltor, and Flasher returned to Fort Francis to transport the rest of the fleet home.
