Mission Summary

A small convey entered the Maine Galaxy to attend the union of turwaket and pywurtle. The plan was simple: abandon the transport 5 light years from the ceremony and ride in. We had 1 earth hour. It seemed a minor but relaxing ride. Skunk, Waltor, Diva and Pecan set course for the ceremony. We ditched our transport and headed a mere 1/4 light year when our leisurely ride turned into a rather harrowing drama. The axle on the pedal of Singularity split, causing the pedal to drop to the pavement and leaving waltor with only one pedal and a nub of a crank to get him to the ceremony. He was feeling that the mission was destined for failure and was about to bail and head to the transport when he decided to fully live up to his iron cog medal and continue the journey with no way to turn the crank but to place his toe on the nub of the crank. Through the negi-gwell we arrived with 15 earth minutes to spare. The ceremony had us dressed in full renaissance costume. We met Turtle and Pywaket's family, watched them exchange vows and had some cake molecules that Pywaket cut with his mighty sword. Following the festivities was a bike parade to the hotel of Turwacket. Sand castle building ensued and then we left the newlyweds and headed back to the Massachusetts Galaxy.
