Submersion

Mission Summary

Today was a SCUL Holiday: WalTor Day in honor of the 2000 iron cog recipient. Maggot Giraffe joined the fleet. WalTor picked the destination to be the SpotPondNebula. Moose navigated the fleet through the Malden System and stopped briefly at Luna DunkinDonuts for fuel. The fleet then headed for their destination through some major negi-gwell. A brief circumnavigation of the nebula allowed the battalion to determine the entry place in which they could enter without dealing with The Man.
Some deep subspace required heavy spacewalking to the submersion point. When the fleet reached their resting spot, they found several fresh abandoned beer molecules. We found this odd but decided the area was a prime location for becoming the SUBMERSIVE chopper urban legion. Several pilots removed their spacegear in preparation for heavy radiation. After 15 earth minutes several civilians appeared from the woods. Apparently they were the purchasers of the fresh beer molecules and having seen our blinkies coming towards them, were frightened for fear we were ST's. Ha!
Pilots endured heavy radiation and fueled up some more on remaining donut molecules. After much relaxation the fleet headed for home.
Waltor and Moose led the fleet down MegaPlanet28 where we noticed a transport was following them for two light years. Upon reaching a resting point, the fleet realized that the transport was in fact an ST escort! Naturally the ST was curious an impressed with the organization of the fleet and wished us a good ride.
The fleet had only one minor mechanical caused by Diva's shoelace getting wound up in her pedal. A quick unwrapping and the fleet headed for base without incident. In all a good WalTorDay.
