Mission Summary

The plan for tonight's mission was "nice and easy." Our intrepid navigator, Bushido, led us through heavily populated areas, where we were greeted by cheering throngs of food. We stopped at Luna Toscanini's for icecream molecules. From there, we proceeded to a dark lot in the Southern Somerville System, where pilots used a combination of echolocation and thermal imaging to Derby. It was soon decided that a less illuminatorially challenged Derby field was in order; happily one was quickly found nearby. Many of the 25 pilots participated enthusiastically in the Derby, entertaining a well mannered audience of local produce. Spirits were high, and pilots reckless, resulting in several mechanicals and injuries. A noteworthy event was the breach of the PrixFixe's primary thruster by Darkendank's navigational thruster in the final Derby. Skunk quickly trued the dramatically tacoed thruster by stomping it with his boots - with surprisingly desirable results. Meanwhile, pilots continued to ride around and roughhouse. Soon after repairing PrixFixe, Lust sustained similar damage. For a while it seemed as though we were damaging ships faster than we could repair them. As soon as we were able to patch together the ailing fleet, we returned to base in order to avoid further destruction.
