For D-Day (Diva Day) the focus was on building our skill base, therefore, the mission was maggot-free. The night marked some important events; in addition to it being a SCUL holiday, Diva and Waltor announced their engagement and pilots, discovering of the recent passing of Rick James decided to ride to his music.
Tarantula christened his new ship Birdeater, and we headed for the shoreline. On the way, the new ship encountered some seat post difficulty. Luckily, tarantula had brought some spares and we made a swap while pilots got their groove on around the steaming globe. Viva la Diva. Once the ship was deemed flight-ready, Waltor navigated towards the locks. We followed the locks and then headed along the shore path towards castle island. We arrived at the castle island in stealth mode. Pilots readily removed spacesuits and a few pilots grabbed some escape pods to orbit with. Viva La Diva! After some relaxation and grooving we headed for fuel at the luna 7/11. Here it seemed that every drunk in the boston system had congregated, so we quickly left and headed back to the cambridge system. On the way we stopped in a large arena to practice flight formations. Viva La Diva! We then returned to the fort in high spirits . Viva La Diva!
