Starchaser Intelligence has received data indicating the birth of a wormhole, just south of the dNB. It skirts the inter-dimensional nebulous rift, bordering our system. The primary objectives of Operation Soft Potato were to secure the cosmic perimeter around the southern quadrant, explore the new wormhole, and leave a message of hope for the local lifeforms. Mission accomplished!
Cobb and Talbot made a rare appearance on tonight's mission, joined by Walden and Civitron. Four pilots on four ships set out on a direct route around the Buttonwood Constellation, down Rockdale and into the southern quadrant. The byways were thick with transports, the pilots of which have grown accustomed to the ice of a long nuclear winter and (just like us) they are eager to return to the skies.
Cruising along the Cove and toward Fort Taber, Talbot requested an emergency shore leave. His wish was granted and while he re-inflated his sugar cells, the rest of the crew took the opportunity to deploy Chalkbag and dance. DANCE HERE! ...not here. HERE! Walden was magic on stillcam and kept the party going even after the groove began to fade.
The Starchasers eventually arrived at the Wormhole to Nowhere but due to high winds, which may have blown out ships into the Acushnet Nebula, the crew was forced to change course. However, the mission was complete with a simple message to indicate that indeed, "SCUL wuz here".
Cobb and Talbot burned up upon re-entry, leaving Walden and Civitron to complete the route back to the launchpad.
