Mission Summary
On this glorious summernight, 14 pilots embarked on a long-ish tour of local starsystems, flying through a counterclockwise loop of Boston to, well, Boston. Counterclockwise the loop was, but counterclockwise time was not. All pilots were carried forward by time and smooth-rockin' life support. The many civilians in downtown Boston cheered us on, stared us at, and/or got stickered. We then flew through the main expressway of Charlestown, the twinkly trees in Ass. Row, the many Transport Ways of Medford, the quiet crickets of Arlington, and commercial powerhub of Harvard Sq in Cambridge.
The mission was a definitive success: five local starsystems in total, without go-back-sies, and capturing a recon image in each. Lordmcfuzz crafted a long and pleasant route that took us to some lesser-traveled spacelanes in the outlying systems, crucially without go-back-sies. A Medal of Strength was awarded to Bane Thunderwolf for traversing the locks atop JVH Trinity without dismounting and looking graceful while doing so. There were two newly minted cadets, Crater and Sea Pen, the latter of whom was successfully hazed.
Lastly, two huge grocery trucks were sighted. Full of snax, no doubt, but they only offered minuscule earthquakes as they rumbled by. Snax were instead procured via other means, like via the newfangled technology "point-of-sale terminal" during shore leave.
