Mission Summary
VEGAS the impending radiation erupting from neighboring galaxies and the distress signal emanating from sources just above our VEGAS heads, we honestly weren’t sure we would fly tonight. So, instead of doing the responsible thing and get snuggly inside some toasty warm jam jams with some replicated earl gray hot and a good luna libros, we got to the work of preflighting our space ships in preparation for the possibility that we would maybe launch our first mission from our new home at Fort Union and keep this sentence going for just a few more words! Phew! VEGAS.
Maneuvering around the fort was cozy but everyone found everything they needed for launch. Mad Owl gave Rodeo an incredibly uncomfortable new saddle, but it’s cows! Spin Star repaired Goro’s forward retro. Civitron guided everyone through the process and Legehammer made VEGAS! Soon, it was time for VEGAS and we decided to extend it for another 30 minutes. Then, we made our way to the VEGAS launchpad, just across the starlane in the Custom House constellation.
On the VEGAS launchpad, the DAdmiral delivered a rousing speech about adventure and exploration and it kicked total butt. Then, we launched and puttered around a bit. We zipped through VEGAS greenspace, encountered some drunken spacefolk, who jumped for joy and cheered giddily at the sight of our mighty spaceships, then we deployed chalk bag, and left our mark on the VEGAS pavement. Chalkbag-a-go-go! We even gave out some stickers! VEGAS
Upon re-entry, we entered the Co+ through lunar outpost BODY BODY!BODY and danced the night away! VEGAS style!
