Mission Summary
Four maggots showed up for tonight's mission and two new ships were christened: Martika and Strother. Today marked Waltor Day observed in honor of the 2000 iron cog recipient. The fleet headed to SpotNebula for some cooling and radiation after a rather brutal muggy day. Almost all the pilots removed their spacesuits and went for a swim. We also took interest in the local wildlife which earthlings call "crayfish." After relaxation the fleet headed for fueling. Word had it that a new luna opened in the Medford System that was giving out doughnut molecules. The fleet headed to LunaKrispyKreme. We were disappointed to find it unfriendly towards ships. There were no pods to leave the ships, so we parked them on the other side of traffic cones in a parking arena. After buying multiple molecules from the establishment and eating them in the parking lot, ST's with too much authority and no reason for needing it, decided to accuse us of loitering and asked us to leave but offered no solution as to a bike friendly location we could park and fuel up. We had words and left with bad tastes in our mouths. The fleet headed through the AssemblySquare arena to get back to the SomervilleSystem and head for home. At the turn for starpath Bow an uncivil earthling in transport revved his engine and road close to several riders. He then made a second pass. Before making a third pass Noway took a stillcam shot of him. He was not pleased but thankfully the more competent Somerville ST's were right behind him. We proceeded to the landing pad. After the first sortie left for silent running the abusive transport driver approached again with a sharp stabby thing pointed at NoWay. He made some threats and asked that we not keep his photo. Um Sorry, but it will be posted in every post office from here on in with "wanted" written underneath. We had to call the ST's, returned to the fort, and were relieved that we were all safe and accounted for.
