Truck Stop: Diva Day Delayed
"Breaker breaker what is the 10-20 on the night cricket market? We were thinking of forming a convoy there"
"Negatory. It's been rained out"
"Guess we will need to set a new destination-over"
"That's a 10-4. Keep on Truckin"
Thus the seven of us began our run. Waltor was willing to be our rubber duck and shake the trees while DeadBride closed the back door to make sure we did not have any bad run-ins with bears.
We headed down Planet Somerville when something was going on with the playlist. Diva said, "um, this is the wrong playlist."
"10-9? Come back?"
"This is the wrong playlist. Pull your rig over so we can fix it"
"Copy that"
After some tapping on the radio and a brief delay the crisis was averted and we took off again listening to McCall's "Convoy."
Waltor led our convoy a back way to our 01, AlewifeStation. We almost had some road pizza on the way from a couple rabbits and a chipmunk, but arrived without incident. Our first stop was an opportunity to avoid radiation. But as the radiation did not bother the pilots and nobody needed to go 10-100, we moved on to our 02, Danehy Park.
At Danehy we tested out a playground and then went to a little more private spot to unload some of our cargo lest Dead Bride become a suicide jockey with her thermos bottle. So we lit up the sky with our cargo and then headed out.
On the flip flop we headed to a local Choke'nPuke where we spent some of our hard earned green stamps. Waltor felt daring and picked up some "limited edition smoked gouda potato chips" for us all to sample. We learned why it was limited.
Back on the road agin, we headed back to the landing home in time so Diva could log some Z's. but the remaining pilots decided to continue on another mission as the 10-36 was right around our usual launch. So Waltor and Diva wished them good numbers and departed ways.
