19 Pilots

Mission Summary

19 Pilots rode forth from Fort Francis in what was to be a dangerous and satisfying mission. There was no radiation to be found, for the first time in a while. SCUL was joined by three pilots from Galaxy CT and their stock musclebikes. They also came bearing SCUL beer, which was enjoyed by many. SCUL set forth for a party in the Jamaica Plain System, but were thwarted in the Allston System by Waltor's primary thruster failure. The best was made of the situation and a derby was held in the Union Constellation next to Luna Twin Donut. There Twisted Mike was victorious- on a flattened thruster, no less. There were two more thruster failures, and a party was deployed to Fort Allston (Nowhere Fast Headquarters) to retrieve a new thruster for the RBU Dirty Bastard.

Cheesesteak in action

SCUL then set course for Luna Deli Haus and onward to the public gardens. Upon arrival, sans-spacesuit and chopper piloting ensued. We then rode to the Harvard Constellation and onward to the Watertown System, where there was more derbying to be had at Luna Star Market. Then it started to get really ugly. The most injuries on any mission, let alone one dogfight derby! Both Tex and Bulldog sustained head injuries; Tex was wearing shields, but Bulldog was defenseless...luckily the thickness of her skull protected her from serious damage. There were also a couple of leg injuries: potential broken bones in Lone Wülfe's foot and a sprained ankle on Cheesesteak. The fleet limped back to Fort Francis, content.
