Sea Fortress Recon
Remote sensor arrays have detected the presence of a mysterious facility of unknown origin approximately 123.34 acres in size located in the uncharted sector known as "Deer Island", accessible only via a narrow isthmus off the southern limits of the Winthrop System.
Preliminary intelligence indicates the existence of at least 12 massive 150-foot tall egg-shaped vessels adjacent to the southeastern perimeter of the facility, as well as three large atmospheric turbines located strategically at other points within the compound.
Our mission is to infiltrate Deer Island's border defenses and gather reconnaissance imagery of these immense structures and the surrounding areas.
Mission Notes
New deth-stah mount with universal joint fabricated by 3speed: works great but LOUD! 16 pilots launched, 15 made it to Davis Constellation. Voom out to Winthrop System, easy sailing along Winthrop shoreline, stop to investigate heavy nebula. Circumnavigation of Deer Island, awesome path but kinda whiffy on the downwind side! Multiple stillcam operartors contribute to successful completion of mission objectives. Return via alternate route through Winthrop and East Boston systems at warp factor 2 to avoid ominous atmospheric activity observed over the outer nebula. "That's cool" from Chelsea ST! Donuts then back to base, flags flyin'.
