Mission Summary

Hats, hats, hats and helmets and hats and masks and rubber nipples galore. Diva Day celebrated in rare style, with head adornments and a costume pagent. LoJack had nicely foiled his hat to look like leftovers witha duck design, Vomit had a a whole chiquita fruit salad adornment. But Skunk won. Skunk always wins. Oh, well.

EzRaider's navigational unit separated from its hull in traumatic and dramatic fashion, when Zappa ended on an invisible concrete cube-shaped object left carelessly in his path. Kersplat! The fleet mulled the rescue possibilities (sending a rescue party for a transport), but instead decided to pack the remains out with us. Scarecrow took the hull, Vomit the control unit, ThreeSpeed the navigatonal control unit, and MonkeyBoy took the navigational thruster. We pressed on toward pastries and cookies in the North End. Much rejoicing and celebrating, amiable food and civilians, including one who managed to mount Skylab while squeezing past a taxi.

All in all, a total fiasco, but much fun was had by all.
