Mission Summary

Rocket designed a lovely simple mission for which no one signed up. So I contacted his pocket droid and we pivoted. No one was at the fort when we buzzed, so off we went to hunt down pilots in space!

First stop: Fort Gilman

Loop Assembly to wait for more data. A.k.a, how much can PQ fly one handed while pinging other pilots on pocket droids. Do not recommend. 1 star.

Third Stop: Luna 7-11
Pilots Acquired: LMF, Dead Bride, Punchy, Red Squirrel, Skunk, Gritty, Wombat, Ziqqurat, Cosima
Skunk requests photo documentation of successful intercept.

Intercept party becomes mingled with centurions. Check on pilots' snack levels, rear admirals, morale. Hello, Wormholes. Smooth sailing ahead.

Buzz Luna Encore, confuse food. Enjoy the yellow brick flight paths. Continue on to Northern Strand Wormhole.

Fourth stop: deep space fuel dump
Pilot Attrition: excess

Continuing on only to discover extensive technical handling skills required! BAIL! It's space walkin' time! This is not what we came for. Much trouble avoided.
Consult starmap for alternate route and proceed smoothly on better quality skyway.

SPACE MADNESS! The interceptors knew not how many light years were required and we depart, having succeeded at bringing a morale boost to centurions.

Departing pilots: Rocket, PQ, Deadblow, Grog
We foolhardy few decide to about face and navigate the treacherous crossings of the Strand. Regret. Much space walking. Very turbulent. Crossing through Malden System, an ST reprimands us for being in the road?

No pilots require Fort Tyler, and all desire their beds. Mission leader Rocket counts us off in flight and we part ways with Deadblow and Grog proceeding on one final wormhole, and pq and Rocket taking another, paying homage to the Grackle as we found our way to our forts.
