Mission Summary
Due to Braniac to Choppernimicron Computer transport issues, Pilots are missing from this mission!
Guess how many pilots rode in the SCUL mission known as Operation
DirtyDozen?
We had two ships to christen that evening. The first ship was USB Catastrophe, an old ship with a new hull. After a few sentimental words from Fleet Admiral Skunk, he smashed a Schlitz Beer module across her mighty bow. The tiny nanites found inside all Schlitz beers had ill effects on the circuitry of RadioBox, and the sonic disruptors went from partially damaged to non functional over the course of the mission. Skunk checked to see if the self repair units had worked their magic by Monday to no avail. Monday night he took the unit apart, cleaned it and reassembled it. Limited success, the sonic disruptors worked for about two minites, then died for good. A replacement has been installed, but a high price to pay for the lesson, "Alpine stereo systems may not be compatible with certain types of cheap beer."
The second ship was SDV BadMotivator, the latest from the Super Dimensional Vehicle Wing. MegaSeth spent months perfecting the bipolar fork design, which was a glorious sight to see flight. Unfortunately her port thruster plate burned up on reentry and was forced to base which was nearby. Hopefully MegaSeth survived the crash.
Navigation by Moose provided ice cream molecules and three rather fun derbies, won by Skunk, ScabWorkerDroneMicheal, and DangerMouse (her maiden derby victory). All hands returned to base without incident, with the exception of a layover for donut molecules.
