Mission Summary

Narrative

Under the daystar, many civilian ships and "rats" (reportedly not rattus norvegicus) took a many a twisting path, some traveling over 120 lightyears within the 1 square light year of the Lower Allston/Brighton system. A fair few made landing alongside the fort to visit an impromptu chopper petting zoo, and undertook joyous test flights.

Once the rats concluded their race, the fleet was again assembled, this time to recover from both the race and the petting zoo with some watering and grazing in open pastures. Despite a paperwork kerfuffle, the fleet managed to launch promptly, and set off in search of greenery. Luna 7-Eleven provided a satisfactory watering hole in the Central Constellation, and pilots further respite along the Charles Asteroid Belt, finding both grassy pasture and space pasture. It was here that Kilo3 damaged the helm of Bieber Fever during reconnaissance exercises, but the ship continued on in sufficient flying condition. Further respite was taken at the historically public pasture of Cambridge Common.

Rattus Prospectus

The fleet encountered several rodents, and many bunnies. Several pilots developed a complex algebra system to help determine the impact of the number of rabbits on the rat prevalence. Ultimately, the fleet determined that there were in fact not too many rats seen. When questions arose from the rat calculus, it was declared lagomorphs are not rodentia (they are instead lagomorpha).
