Suburban White Boy Lament [MegaSeth Day]
Mission Objectives
celebrate megaseth
return to old skool tactics for documentation and sign in
ride, groove and snax
Mission Summary
Threats of radiation my the weather-droids were empty, and meatspace
was clear for us to have our fun. Special sonic disruptor frequency
mix of Kiss, Ratt, the Scorpions, Gary Numan, Cheap Trick, Pat
Benatar, (anyone wanna add more?) were loaded into the array, and our
thrusters were happier for it. Of course this led to a bit more daring
flying maneuvers, which as you know leads to more crashes. Skunk was
the first: training his sensors on a cup to crush caused a blind spot
for the branches of a christaline entity, "all hands brace for impact
"! Alas, the ship went down with all hands. A rescue crew found the
ship mostly in tact, no casualties. The sonic disruptor array seemed
to like abuse, and the transmission strength was improved
significantly.
But MegaSeth Day was all about riding, and after Rubbish crashing and
Pywacket dropping a chain, and some radio mis-communicating, and
Pywacket crashing, things seemed to smooth out. The route was
treacherous and full of pleasing variety, from the deep space near the
Great Charles Nebulae, to the busy inner Boston Rim transport array.
Most of the civilian populace were friendly and supportive. Even the
ST's allowed us to penetrate the Marathon Blockade. "all clear, kid,
now let's blow this thing and home! YEEEE-HAW"!
We then realized we needed pastry molecules, and not just any. Diva
took Nav-Command of the fleet, and through a daring route, got us to
our bakery.
Droids need zoobs, and our Master Droid had no zoobs, so we set out a
special task force of pilots that needed to use the little fuel-
dumping room led by ThreeSpeed to 'kick the server yo'.
Mission accomplished. All hands had their fun and returned to bases.
Bases, you say? OH, YEAH! We've got a couple now, but that's
classified, you little minx! Shame on you for asking...
Did I mention that Trisignata got her wings?! Welcome, Tris!
A subspace shout-out to Barfly, welcome back to MAD, sucka!
