Hallowheels '23

Mission Summary

A whopping 30 pilots, maggots, and guests assembled on the launchpad this unseasonably warm Hallowheels evening for an early launch to bring seasonal joy to the populous. Navigator Cosima engaged in several tight loops of the Luna Star parking lot before guiding us to the pump track to pick up any civilian interlopers. There was one (1). Guests Cotangent dressed as a Santa Claus and Sailor Moon dressed as -- you guessed it -- Sailor Moon. We took the long way to Davis via wormholes and backroads through Watertown, Belmont, and Cambridge. While orbiting a particularly busy blackhole in the Belmont System, a growing queue of transports miraculously did not sound their sonic disruption. Ice cream molecules were obtained from Luna J.P. Licks in the Davis Constellation before we set course for the Cambridge Common, where Excess (finally) knighted Palm Tree. Spirits were still high, so we decided to press on to jungle jim tucked in behind the Galleria, only to discover that it had been demolished (the shame), so we adjusted course to the North Point playground, where pilots danced and took a group picture. With all objectives complete, we headed back to base where mission success was declared.
