Terms of success for this mission were not clearly stated by top brass
and therefore it is difficult to determine whether or not this mission
can actually categorized as successful, but what the heck.
was a resounding success: Bubo and Frenchy led the t-shirt cavalry
charge, Nosepicker fixed everything in sight, and Retard helped Skunk
finish the Muppet Coat of Light.
Hapto hung around Fort Chateau Level 2 waiting for pilots to show
up... but it turns out that they were actually on level 1 eating jelly
Our launch was slightly
delayed due to paper airplane shortage, but once things began to roll
things got a lot better. The Sonic disruptor array was really putting
out the funkecules!
We set off without much incident, two Maggots (Retard and Spruce),
and one guest (Soup Kitchen) in tow. Down and straight through Davis,
and though the back paths, beyond Alewife... to a wonderfly secluded
derby arena. We had Varsity, JV and Boggie! Dig?
From there we went off to Luna DD's and watched the Tie fighters
refuel, that then oops wrong direction... then ride in the dark
hither an yon (luckily we had a good number of forward beams) into
deep space around the Fresh Pond Nebula, then back to major routes
into the Harvard Constellation. Then riderideride, and then Nosepicker
broke his chain (apparently trying to put his water in Hapto's basket)
at least he had the courtesy to break down in front of a very
interesting tree... so like thing that go around... are well gone
around... things that are tall and climbable... even if they may or
may not be dead... need to be climbed.
So they did.
Rotwang despite riding a very small ship called
decided that he would be an honorary 'tallbike" for the evening, and
would weave through the crowd yelling "tallbike!tallbike!coming
through!) and would then weave and pull in front of Waltor, as one in
flight on a HARV might. Diva might fine him a lot of points... (-5o per
infraction) but then one might hope she is kidding.
Then we went off and rode some more. It was largely uneventful. Or I
don't remember... maybe it was the Sweeeeet tea that Masokist was drinkin.
Then we inducted Leotard into our ranks, and we did the best we could
despite transported civilians deciding they wanted to be knighted.. or
more realistically fix the plastic piece that was dragging on the
ground... we shoed them away right-proper.
