Mission Summary

This is not a mission. Or is it? What does it mean for something to be a mission, if ya really knuckle down and think about it? This philosophical quandary is what we shall heretofore ascertain. For the fifth week running, fierce radiation suffused the local airspace. Fortunately by launchtime the relentless radiation reluctantly relented. Unmission leader Cosima laid out our not-a-mission subjectives: to find art, to produce art, and to meditate on the meaning of art, as artlessly as possible. Fledgling navigator Meownderthal led us down through a bustling Harvard Constellation en route to a quick loop through Porter and Davis Constellations. We stopped for shore leave in the heart of Davis, where we met several colorful and adoring civilians and received the blessings/curses of a Good Witch. Continuing through the Somerville Community Wormhole to the North Point Skate park we encountered friendly skaters and two dangerously adorable ducklings who mistook us for their mommy. Pilots relocated them away from the peril of concrete and wheels to a more natural location by the water where they could hunt for bugs and hopefully be reunited with their true duck mother. Patent Pending, wielding a Japan Airlines fan, knighted Orbital Kiosk with such boisterous gusto that onlookers feared an imminent decapitation. We set off again through the locks on the long route through Boston back to base. At the Longfellow Bridge Meownderthal got a little turned around, but soon we had our bearings again, and followed a nice, leisurely, meowndering path along the Dudley White Wormhole for the second week in a row. Back near the landing pad we took an unexpected starboard turn into the rear lot of the Luna Star Market to perform an impromptu avant-garde double-whirlpool formation, before splashing down and declaring mission success. Lordmcfuzz awarded a Medal of Diplomacy to Patent Pending for a bombastic beknighting and Medals of Strength to Happenstance, Meownderthal and SweetJP for ~~stupidly~~ boldly traversing the Gridley Locks without dismounting from their HARVs.
