Rotwang interviewed pilots outside of the theater on the non-red carpet to get impressions and excitement about the premiere. According to Rotwang "There was some notion that there might be an NPR spot about the SCUL Movie premier, so I recorded all these conversations with folks at the premier for that. NPR never happened, but that was their loss." The movie itself started at 0000 hrs. I think there were more pilots than Coolidge expected to watch it.
